Some people seem to be very spiritual people. But what really is a spiritual person? Paul challenges some of our perceptions of spirituality and wants us to think more about maturity.

The church is working well when everyone is working in accordance with their gifts. Today’s passage helps us see what a healthy church is like and challenges us to see our place in it.

The gospel does not discriminate meaning that the church has a great diversity of people in it. That’s wonderful, but it can cause divisions and conflict. The gospel also helps us work out those divisions for God’s glory.

The ‘battle of the sexes’ was never supposed to be a battle. Sin has made harmony really difficult, but if we listen to God men and women can honour one another and God as well.

We’ve just looked at the crucifixion and the resurrection of Jesus.  But what do we do now??  This week we are going to look at the ascension, and unpack what it looks like to live with the ascended Jesus.
