As followers of Jesus, we are called to proclaim by word and example the Good News of God in Christ. Sometimes we do that by holding up a mirror for the world to see its reflection. We don’t do that work alone. We are meant to do it together with others who walk the way of Jesus. But we have to be willing to be on the same side of the mirror as everyone else so we can all see where we need to stop being stumbling blocks and where we are missing the mark on grace and generosity.
