Did you make any New Year's resolutions?  How about committing to some changes in your life?  Were they changes that you can measure in sort?  Maybe there was a commitment of resolution that you will lose some weight.  Maybe you said you would be a better Christian.

Have you broken any of these resolutions as of yet? 

This lesson explores a couple of areas that we should look at change in our lives this year possibly.  Peter made a resolution to stand by Christ...even unto death.  But, Peter stumbled on keeping his resolution in a way.  

How about in your life?  Have you made a change worth dying for?

Have you ever found yourself imitating someone else?  Maybe you have noticed someone imitating you?

Imitation is said to be the best form of flattery.

Paul said in 1 Cor 11:1 "Imitate me, as I imitate Christ."

When planting seed, there has to be some sort of principle.  You cannot plant a pumpkin seed and get a cucumber.  It isn't genetically possible.  Neither is creating a seed just like another seed possible.  No matter how many times you try to get a seed to produce harvest, it has to be by the right principles.

Our money says "In God We Trust" on it.  But, when you really think about it, do we really trust God in our lives?  Moses showed in Exodus 3-4 that he had a problem trusting God to start with.  How many times do we tell God "I trust you God", then tell God later on that we just can't do what He wants us to do?

Trust God!  Show Him our trust in obedience.  He will take care of us!  Matt 6:25-34
