As Christians, we are called to train our hearts to see everyone is part of the image of God. That image means we are to respect, honor and cherish human life above all other types of life.
2 Chronicles records the lives and reign of 2 Kings, with 2 very similar beginnings but with 2 drastically different endings. Kings Ahaz and Manasseh show us the effect turning to God can have verses turning our backs on Him.
Wars are won and lost by leadership. The same can be said of the battle for the Faith. When we find the Christians to whom Peter writes 1 Peter 5, they are in the middle of a real war for their faith, and Peter wants to talk to the Leadership.
Stewardship is often the word for a discussion on money or time, but what if I told you that it is less about care of physical/monetary blessings or time management and more about doing what God called you to do with what He called you to do it with?
1 Peter 3 begins with an explanation of how spouses may convert their significant others to Jesus. It ends by explaining that the same principles work for converting the world.
