We often talk of the faithfulness of God, but what about us? Are we faithful to Him? Psalm 12:1-2 reminds us that even the faithful will fall away if they turn away from God. Today, as there are so many distractions in this world, let us be those that remain faithful in Christ, doing as…

My best is never as good as what God has in mind. That became clear as Gideon was told to go down to only 300 men to fight the Midianites in Judges 7:13-23 – but when Gideon did as God told him to do, he didn’t even have to lift a sword to defeat the…

In John 17 we see the prayer of Christ. As part of that prayer, He prayed for us today, that we would be unified, that we would partner together, that we would hold one another accountable, that we would be available to be used by God. Our responsibility as Christians is to come together to…

When we consider the importance of gathering together as a local Bible believing body, it ultimately must come down to a desire to identify with Christ. Any other reason is lacking. In John 6:66-69 we see that this is the very reason that led the Apostles to stay with Christ – His identity. Do you…

As a Christian, we might sometimes wonder if it’s all worth it, why bother, why go to church and be faithful in tithing. Yet when Christ asked the disciples this in John 6:67-71, the answer is clear to all of us – Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life.

Satan wants us to think highly of ourselves, yet God makes it clear that without Him we can do very little. In Judges 6 we see how Gideon had to rely upon the power of God and trust Him, beginning with his relationship with God. What about you friend, how’s your relationship with God today?…

God has called on local Bible believing believers to partner together for a reason – because there’s strength when we come together and partner! In Ecclesiastes 4:91-12 we’re given examples of this strength and the need for Christians to be bound together in Christ. How’s your partnership with Christ and other believers today?

Discouragement. We all encounter it at some point in our lives. Sometimes it lasts longer than other times. But in those times of discouragement, are we faithful to God? When we consider the life of Job, we see complete faithfulness to God even though he lost it all, as we see in Job 1. Friends,…
