From Mark 2:1-5. Approaching Jesus in unconventional ways.

From Luke 8. The farmer spreads the seed, which is the word of God. This is the parable Chris Spitters will be examining, and challenging us to examine how we spread our seed to let it grow and multiple.

From Luke 10. Chris Spitters talks about how risky it is to serve Jesus, that it's not an easy decision but one to which we are all called.

The church is made up of different parts, different functions, just like a body, which makes the image of the body of Christ as an actual body so fitting. Sometime the body gets out of wack, doesn't function properly or not to its full potential. Thus an adjustment is needed. God has the prescription, found in Ephesians 4. The hardships of life are not always easy to deal with. They can feel overwhelming, bring our spirits down and cause us to doubt God's love. But these trails aren't in vain. In fact, God has a purpose for them in our lives.

Understanding what love is, even on the basic human level, can be beyond our grasp. And God, who is the very embodiment of love, may even still be beyond our grasp, but that doesn't limit our abilities to experience His love in a way that is both beyond us and yet exactly what we all need.
