Sermons from First Church of God, St. Joseph, MI (video edition)

From James 1:19-25. Obedience precedes blessing. Getting rid of the moral filth in our lives in order to hear God's Word.

From 2 Kings 17:41. The meaning of God for any generation may be largely determined by what the preceding generation has known and lived.

From Ephesians 5:18-21. God intends for every Christian to be continuously motivated and strong in his spiritual life. He baptized us and fills us with His Holy Spirit, which is His power for holy, righteous living. When we speak of the baptism of the Spirit, we refer to a once-for-all gift. When we speak of the filling of the Spirit, we acknowledge this gift needs to be continuously appropriated.

From Luke 4:16-19. Campus Pastor of Anderson University Kim Majeski talks about doing God's work His way today.

From Matthew 28:18-20. Fulfilling the Great Commission.

From 1 Corinthians 13:13. Reproduction happens at small levels, a small pocket of believers, growing and maturing, and splitting, and multiplying. This happens more out in our community, than inside the church building. It happens as life groups meet in homes, and invite friends and neighbors, and then eventually split and multiply into two groups, and those two groups eventually into four groups.Faith is how we relate intimately with God. Hope is how we offer Jesus to the world. Love is how we treat our neighbors. These three aspects of truth, makes up our spiritual DNA. These are three simple ingredients that every believer should cling to, believe in, and pass on to others.

From Mark 2:1-5. Approaching Jesus in unconventional ways.

Forgiveness is hard, whether we have to forgive someone or ourselves. Listen as Rev. Norm Patton talks about experiencing complete forgiveness.

The church is made up of different parts, different functions, just like a body, which makes the image of the body of Christ as an actual body so fitting. Sometime the body gets out of wack, doesn't function properly or not to its full potential. Thus an adjustment is needed. God has the prescription, found in Ephesians 4. Listen as Chris Spitters expounds upon this theme, in his sermon "A Chiropractic Adjustment".

From Mark 16:1-8. Finding hope in rebirth and resurrection.
