In the story of Jesus walking on the water we learn that Jesus sees the trouble they are having, goes to help them (in a supernatural way), speaks words to calm them, and gets them safely to shore. We can trust Jesus because He is the Most High God and exercises His divine providence of all of creation.

Jesus feeds thousands of people miraculously and demonstrates that He is the good Shepherd and the Son of God. He provides rest, spiritual food and meets physical needs.

God prepares His people for persecution through the story of Herod putting John the Baptist to death. Be prepared, Be wise, but don't be afraid!

Jesus proves that He is the Son of God by healing a woman with an incurable disease and raising a little girl from the dead. Every person should believe that Jesus is God because He has power over life and death.

In Mark 6 Jesus returns to His hometown of Nazareth to give them another chance to believe on Him. We see in Jesus that God is patient and gracious with sinners.

Jesus casts out a legion of demons from a desperate and damaged man.

In Mark 4, Jesus demonstrates His deity by calming the wind and the waves.
