Just as Herod discounted the wise men, we often discount those who

extraordinarily purse Wisdom. Instead, let us receive the treasures

God gives us through them.

Every move of the Holy Spirit calls us into a deeper love affair

with Jesus; an affair in which we are smothered in enough peace and

favor to withstand the transformation of our hearts.

While traditions and triumphs of the past deserve to be held in high

regard, the Holy Spirit calls us to replace these things with newer

and greater revelation. We must allow the Spirit to teach us to grasp

these revelations, for human wisdom is unable to do so.

The destiny that God calls each of us to is so great that it will not

reach its potential if we handle it alone. We must surround ourselves

with a family of trust that we allow to speak into our lives. In this

way we will live out the promise God made to Abraham.

In the life of every believer there are circumstances that bring our attention to our own lack. Lack of patience, lack of love, lack of faith but Jesus didn't come to draw the believers attention to our own lack. He came to deliver us from that lack and then He sent the Holy Spirit to remind us of His righteousness. We can know that all things work together for those who love God, we just need to stop looking at our own lack.

John 15 instructs us to remain in Jesus. He tells us that apart from Him we can do nothing. This message delves into the realm of the Spirit where this message is true. We can do nothing of Kingdom value unless we remain in Jesus. You can answer the call of God is to live spiritually with Him.

In John 15 Jesus describes the process of fruitfulness. Pruning is part, it allows us to carry a greater capacity of fruit. It is for our good, and when we trust Jesus down to the depths of our being we can receive pruning this way.
