As Christians, we commit to life-long learning about God, about Jesus and the Holy Spirit

This lent I encourage you to lean into your identity as a child of God. To be obedient to that call on your life, and to make the choices that will put you on the path towards the kingdom.

If our reflections on the glory of God lead us to a place of awe and reverence and humility, we shall be in a good attitude of heart and mind to begin the season of Lent which starts this Wednesday.

‘Racial justice is not just about avoiding anger. For that might have the consequence of people being passive, accepting of a status quo. It is focussed anger seeking to undermine hate with love, injury with mercy, hurt with grace.’

'Hear and respond to God’s call on your life to shine, not because you are the light yourself, not so everyone can congratulate you on your good deeds, but shine on the stage that is God’s world, lighting up the presence of God.'

The king in his address, introduces a new kind of hunger and thirst, but it not for these worldly desires...it is after righteousness. And those who have this huge spiritual appetite, the huge hunger and thirst for righteousness Jesus said, they will be filled.
