The Church's Role: Edification, Celebration, Fellowship
Pastor Darrell Young
ACTS 20: 6-12
In Acts 20:6–12, we are given a beautiful glimpse into the life of the early church—gathered together to hear the Word, to break bread, and to encourage one another in Christ. Even in an unexpected moment of crisis, the power of God is displayed, and the church is strengthened and comforted.
In this sermon, Pastor Darrell explains the essential role of the church in the life of every believer. The body of Christ exists for edification, celebration, and fellowship—building one another up in truth, rejoicing in God’s work, and living in deep, Christ-centered community.
This passage reminds us that the church is not merely a place we attend, but a people we belong to—called to grow together, worship together, and be strengthened together in Christ.
