Why invest your life in God's kingdom, it's small, weak, and grows so slowly. Jesus' parables tell us it's the best investment we can make

After opposition and a disappointing response to Jesus. We ask the question: Jesus, Jesus, how does your kingdom grow?

• What practice would you like to start to help you listen to God’s word?
• How might you partner with God as He grows His Kingdom?

People begin to disapproved of Jesus, listen in to Mark 3 as we see what the marks of the true people of God

•How could you grow in finding contentment in Jesus?

•Where may you need to be prepared to let Jesus change your mind?

Jesus has come bringing something new that doesn't fit into the old way of doing things. Listen in as Steve talks about new life in Jesus, how it relates to the Old Testament Law and to us today.

What did Jesus come to earth to do? We need to know so we can relate to him rightly and so we as a church can prioritise the right things

A new era is dawning, Jesus calls his disciples to join. 

Does Jesus have the right and might to do this? Do we want to be part of this kingdom. Look at Mark 1 to find out more.

A - Chat to a friend about what it would mean to live for Jesus at work/home...

B - This week practice seek to live by repentance and faith. find 10 minutes and think about your day/week:

1.     What were the highs, where did you feel God’s grace? Thank him for those things.

2.     What were the lows, where did you turn from following Jesus?

a.     And in those times, why? What was it you were following instead of Jesus? 

b.     Then name that specifically to God and say sorry

3.     Then receive his forgiveness afresh ( you could read Mark 2:17)

4.     And pray for help in that area to follow Jesus in the future.
