The children of God are called to “work out what God’s grace has worked in” as we cling to the Word of Life in order that we may be the light Christ has made us.

In relationships, we are always traveling to a new place, we learn as we go, we adjust as we need, and when conflict arises, we often need to reorient. Philippians can function as God's Compass for the Gospel - Relational Re-orientation.

The power of the Christian is in Christ alone, so we trust that his grace is sufficient and returned our boasting as praise to him.

Because Jesus Christ offers love that is willing to live and die with us even when spurned or rejected we are called to receive and reciprocate the same “greater love.”

God’s dwelling place is where heaven and earth meet – within the life of anyone that call him “Lord” – yet the challenge of any believer is living reconciled to Christ while rejecting ties that compromise holiness.

God’s grace is so powerful that we can see people just as they are and never lose the wonder of who they might be becoming. The gospel lets us boldly say “no one is beyond hope, not even me.”

This earthly life includes inevitable temptation to despair and lose heart in the face of the affliction, but in comparison with the “coming weight of glory” this current affliction is light so on the way to attaining that glory our present lives matter.
