According to James the wildest part of the body is the tongue. Who can tame it? 

Luther said "grace alone, faith alone, Christ alone". James does not agree with Luther, and for this reason Luther called the Epistle of James an "epistle of straw". Who do you trust? James, the brother of Jesus, leader in the Jerusalem church? Or, Martin Luther?

Among God's people, nobody is elevated over anyone else. Status disappears. The only person higher than anyone else is Jesus Christ Himself. 

Pure and Faultless religion involves widows, orphans, a bridled tongue and living according to different rules than Satan's world. 

If you listen to the Word, but don't do it you are deceiving yourself. 

"Be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to anger"

When God gives you something you need it will be at the right time and it will also be the exact right gift!

Sin, where does it come from and whose fault is it? 

When people come to Jesus from the world run by Satan they suddenly encounter a different social environment. Suddenly riches isn't that valuable. Suddenly status in according to worldly systems doesn't apply anymore. Jesus puts everybody on the same level. He raises the poor and he humbles the rich. 

The one thing the people in our world so desperately need is the one thing that we ask God for the least. Yet, if we ask God for it, He will give it freely because He knows the value that it has for our lives.
