Who? What? Why? How? What does the Bible say about The Church?

Hope in God is found in Jesus and his promise of heaven.

Faith can make the ordinary...extraordinary.

God's trustworthiness can be seen woven throughout the scriptures time and time again.

Jesus is the common thread across the entire bible. The temple, the sacrifices, the selection of Israel all point to Jesus as the focus and purpose of creation. God's plan A was not Adam and Eve remaining in the garden. His plan B wasn't salvation through religious practice of temple and sacrifices. His plan C was not Jesus. All of history has been about God directing all things to Jesus to the glory of God.

Sin; anything that goes against God and his plan. We are all born with it. How do we deal with it? The Gospel is the good news of how Jesus deals with our sin.

When life is chaotic and turns upside down, Jesus is completely in control.

Sabbath is not just about our rest from work. Sabbath is FOR us but TO God. It is a proclamation of the goodness and grace of God.
