There is a vast difference between being a fan of Jesus and being a follower! Jesus had crowds of people who traveled with him wherever he went. They wanted to see the amazing miracles Jesus was performing and hear his harsh rebuke of the Pharisees. Several times Jesus turned to address the crowds and tell them what was required of them if they wanted to be his true followers.
