We look forward with anticipation to the arrival of our Savior. We live
with the tension of the promise of eternity and the struggle to survive in
a world that challenges our dreams and perceptions of God's promise. Yet,
the signs are all around us. Much like the first century Jews awaited the
fulfillment of the prophecies about the birth of the Messiah, we wait for
His second coming. We wait, not hopelessly, but with expectation because
the signs point to the fulfillment of His promises. The pain of our present
will resolve into the promise of eternity when Christ returns.
