Today Mark Heger from WakeWell talked about one of his favorite gospel stories, Jesus Calming the Storm. Mark connects the physical storm the disciples were going through to the metaphorical storms that we deal with every day. A “storm”, is anything that causes us to doubt “Who God is” or “What He is capable of”. And our hope through this message, is that as we Rise in Faith and we begin to know more of "Who Jesus is" and "What He has done” that we will be able to endure life’s darkest days and fiercest storms.

And for us to rise we must completely trust both His sovereignty and His goodness (Jeremiah 29:4-14; Philippians 4:19; Hebrews 13:5-6).
