Previously we learned that the believer deals with present suffering by looking towards his future glory. Today, we'll see glimpses of heaven's glory by comparing two extreme views of heaven: 1-a place where every earthly lust and desire will be satisfied and 2-an undesirable place of monotony and boredom.

More than just a bodily change, the believer will have spiritual perfection (Eph 5:26-27 & Col 1:24) and a perfect new world (Rev 21).

We'll see that man points to the Humanistic Evolutionary Theory as the reason. But through Divine Revelation, we find that Creation is fallen because of man's sin and God's curse. The hope given to the world is the Messiah is coming and will redeem humankind.

In Romans 8:18, Paul has told us that the Christian will suffer for Christ. Today we'll see that Christianity is unique from other religions in how it tells the believer to deal with suffering by using reasoning. The believer must reason that his future is better than his present, and that his present day suffering cannot be compared to his future glory. From Romans Chapter 8, the believer can recall what God has done for him, who God has told him he is, and what his future is. The believer must let truth and reasoning control his feelings.
