Most churches today don’t preach the Gospel. They may tell you that you can accept Jesus into your heart but that is not the Gospel. The Gospel is the good news ABOUT Jesus Christ and His work. These churches typically think that Christians know the Gospel so they can move onto other things. Nonsense. Paul in this passage says that the church’s ministry must focus on the Gospel for Christians.

Because they are saved from their sins, true Christians desire to be in heaven with God in their resurrected bodies and strive to please God until that happens.
Old Testament Text: Psalm 62
The statistics on how well our kids will turn out as Christians are grim. One statistic states that three out four of our youth will ditch the faith at some point – three out of four! What do we do? Paul has plenty to say on this.
