Are you a "faithful" friend or an "unfaithful" friend? Pastor "Mac" discusses how to be a friend, just like Jesus is a friend to you and everyone else in the world. Jesus took all of our sins because he loved us. He is the friend that loves all time.

Keys to Being a Friend

Friendship is based on The Word. God knew both David and Jonathan loved the Lord God. God knew that what they did was based on what the Lord would have them do. They gave each other their word to follow God and do what He would have them to do.
Selflessness. Jonathan took off his robe and gave it to David. This signifies that he was giving everything Jonathan had to David because he was faithful to God and David's friendship. David was aware that Soul was trying to kill him, but David was faithful to Jonathan to not kill Soul even through he had opportunity to do so. He was faithful
Generational. It was a friendship to grow past the two of them, but it is to extend to their descendants for generations.

A true friendship will have ups and downs, but it will survive those twists and turns. Jesus is our friend. We are part of His family.

When we build others up we are walking by the spirit. Do we build others up outside of the church? That is some of the questions that Pastor "Mac" will discuss. We have to take the time to recognize when God presents an opportunity to "Build Others Up".
