Pastor "Mac"'s message is about how things happen in his own time. Have you been frustrated with God and thinking God doesn't answer your prayers. God's timing is different than ours. Sometimes his delaying of answering your prayer is not necessarily a denial. God may want you to mature in faith and he may want you to accomplish something before he answers your prayer. The Bible is full of people that God answered their prayer but delayed answering their prayers just to show them the power God can accomplish in their lives through their faith and believe. "Seeing is not believing, believing is not having to see."

Pastor "Mac" talks about what we can learn from The Cross.

Point #1: Live with a counter culture attitude. There are a lot of ways that seem right, but do they agree with what God says in the Word of God. In today's world a lot of things seem logical but are not theo-logical. Point #2: Stay in the middle of the pack or the herd. Stay in the Bible. Read and worship what God has to say. -- Worship God Assemble and worship. -- Fellowship Encourage one another. -- Prayer -- Service Serving the Lord may take time. Time for God, Time with God. -- Use the Tools God Has given. Point #3: Live for the Lord

We make choices everyday. We choose to sin or not to sin. We tend to decide if we want to give in to the temptations we are presented with everyday. Our theme is "Mastering Self Control", but we don't need to master anything. We need to let God, the Master work in us, and let His plan work in our life. The will of God is always the best. God is our help in times of trouble.

Jim discusses how we should give because God has given so much to us. We should not be selfish and keep all of God's blessings to ourselves. We should share it with others. God doesn't need our tithes. Everything that we have has been given with Joy from God. He loves blessing us.
