When false teachers whisper sweet words into the ears of immature Christians, the body of Christ begins to break apart and lose what makes it distinctive—that is, the faith in the unique person and work of Jesus Christ. Believers should apply themselves to learning the true knowledge of God and live out the life of faith.
2 Peter 2:1–10 

The Scriptures are trustworthy because of the eyewitness testimony of the apostles to the historical event of Christ’s death and resurrection, but also because of the trustworthiness of the Law and Prophets found in the Old Testament.

Pastor Dell kicked off our new series by walking through 2 Peter 1:1-15. Christians must grow in faithfulness through the virtues found in Scripture. As Christians, we must practice Christian virtues to deepen our faith and trust in God.
