Genesis 3 shows us the madness sin unleashed into our relationship with God and one another, bringing shame, hiding, blame, conflict, and brokenness. Romans 12 points us toward something radically different: a people transformed by God’s grace who practice hospitality, humility, compassion, peace, and genuine love. In Christ, God gives us a new way to live together.

1 Peter 2:18–25 | Living Hope For Exiles, Part 7 | 7/5/2026 | Pastor Matt Jones. Peter addresses servants living under the institution of Roman slavery, raising questions that many people still ask today about the Bible and slavery. Does Scripture actually endorse slavery? How should Christians understand these challenging passages? And what does any of this have to do with following Jesus today? Pastor Matt will show how Peter is doing far more than commenting on an ancient social institution. He points us to the greatest slavery of all—our bondage to sin—and to the only Savior who can truly set us free.

1 Peter 2:11-17 | Living Hope for Exiles, Part 6 | 6/28/2026 | Pastor Matt Jones. In this section of Scripture, Peter reminds believers that while our citizenship is in heaven, we are called to live faithfully in a world that is not our home. As exiles and strangers, we face both an internal battle against sinful desires and an external challenge of living honorably before a watching world. Peter shows us how the gospel shapes our conduct, our witness, our relationship to government, our understanding of freedom, and our love for one another as the people of God.

John 1:1-18 | Father's Day 6/21/2026 | Pastor Matt Jones. In our culture, people are constantly searching for father figures; someone to follow, trust, imitate, and receive approval from. Yet the Gospel of John points us to something even greater. In the opening chapter of his Gospel, John introduces us not merely to a model father, but to God Himself revealed through His Son, Jesus Christ.
