Today we returned the book of Exodus and rejoined the Israelites at the foot of Mount Sinai, listening to the voice of God Himself.

This week, we had the joy of hearing from one of our 2019 Pastors College graduates, Mark Waite. Mark took us to the book of Daniel to remind us to marvel at Christ's identity, His authority, and His nearness.

In this sermon, we considered God's unfolding plan by looking at the ten commandments from three different perspectives.

In this passage, the Israelites are given a powerful prologue, reminding them of their redemptive history. This points to the greater exodus to come through Jesus Christ and the rescue provided through his death and resurrection.

In this sermon, we are led to the foot of a smoking mountain, alongside the trembling Israelites as we behold together the holiness of the living God and the One Mediator who brings us near.

At the foot of Mount Sinai, God's people learn what grace and appropriate fear accompany meeting a holy God.

On this membership Sunday, CJ took us to Psalm 122 which appropriately describes our own experience each time we meet together as a church family.

This week we considered the surprising relevance of a psalm of lament on such a happy occasion as Easter Sunday.

In Exodus 19, the Lord instructs Moses to challenge and call the Israelites to serve the God who has graciously and powerfully delivered them from Egyptian oppression and slavery.

Through this passage, we are reminded that God's goodness, power and generosity towards us are on display even in the most mundane moments of our lives.
