In 1 Samuel 13:14, God announced that he was seeking for “a man after his own heart”. He found that man in David, the greatest of all the kings of Israel. A Prophet Who Went AWOL. That is the title of this sermon from Jonah 1. AWOL stands for Absent Without Official Leave. Or in this case, maybe it would better stand for Avoiding the Will Of the Lord. Or Abandoning the Work Of the Lord. In any case, Jonah fled from the presence of the Lord. Find out what happened and why going AWOL is never a good idea!

In this last message of the series, we look at the story of the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11. The title of the message is The Lord Scattered Them. What was the problem with the people’s plan? Why did God scatter them? When does unity become a dangerous thing?
