Good morning. We’ve come to Week 7, the end of our series on the church. We’ve asked two main questions, seeking biblical answers - What is a church? and What does the church do? This morning we come to our final question - Where is the church going?
Many who have left the church, or grown tired of it, would argue it’s because the church has stagnated, when it should have been dynamic. Others will complain that the church has lost relevance, even as the culture advances. That may be your experience. Even within the church, it’s common to hear people desire to hear an articulation that we are going somewhere, doing something, planning.
