The angel's cry in Revelation 14:8 is not only a declaration that Rome will fall, but ultimately, that the world system that stands opposed to God and His people will one day be judged.

As Paul challenges husbands about loving their wives, he bases that challenge in the incomparable love that God has for His people, a love seen most clearly in the sacrifice of Jesus Christ for the church.
