As parents teach their children the things of God, they must also correct and instruct them, as God disciplines His children, in order to show them the danger of their sinful condition and direct them to the joy of faith.

Every parent is called by God to be a teacher who not only declares God's truths but also demonstrates them, so that a life of faith is imparted, not just information.

The goal of our parening must always be to bring, in every way and any circumstance, our children to Jesus Christ.

The Teacher challenges his listeners to not waste the their lives by forgetting God their Creator, their Sustainer, in the prime of life.

In spite of life's bitterness, the Teacher in Ecclesiastes call his readers to rejoice in life's sweetness. But in light of new life in Jesus, we can rejoice now, not in spite of reality, but in light of the reality of our redemption in Him.

Even though messages about Hell are often labelled 'offensive' or 'antiquated' or 'irrelevent', God's word is clear about the reality that those without the righteousness of Christ will eternally experience God's justice because of their condition of rebellion against God.

One day, God's justice will be poured out fully and finally. One that day, all will stand before the judgement seat of Christ, even those covered by His righteousness.

Because the perfect justice of God and the perfect grace of God met at the cross of Jesus Christ, we can be declared innocent before God; made right with God and reconciled to Him.
