In this message we consider the 8th, 9th, and 10th commandments to discover the basic focus of contentment in God’s providence which is required if we are to keep these moral precepts. Join us as we conclude our study of the Ten Commandments!

The Ten Commandments is divided into two sections: the laws that govern our relationship with God and the laws that govern our relationship with other people. In the 5th, 6th, and 7th Commandments we see the basic principles that must be present for any society to exist with stability. Join us as we explore the significance of these commands for our own lives!

The first four of the Ten Commandments focus on the principal duties we owe to God. Rather than being a mere checklist of things to do, the first four commandments call for a radically God-centered vision of life in which the pursuit of the glory of God is our chief aim. Join us as we consider the implications of the first table of the law for how we relate to God!

Both the relationship of the Ten Commandments to the rest of the Mosaic law and the relationship of the Ten Commandments to the modern believer are often misunderstood. Join us as we begin our study of the Ten Commandments by exploring their uniqueness and ongoing significance.

God’s covenant made with Israel at Mount Sinai is one of the most important events in history.
