He has risen bodily--see it and believe it; This good news is not only to be known, it is to be proclaimed to all; He will give us what we need to proclaim this good news.

We are often slow in heart to believe, and therefore heavy in heart without hope. Christ has been raised to glory, ad so His people will be too. Even better than by physical sight, in scriptures God reveals Christ for our hope and joy.

Jesus is righteous, but the world in unrighteousness rejects Him anyway. The righteous one is condemned sot hat the unrighteous can go free.

Jesus has always seen our shameful failings and dealt with them Himself; despite the world's judgement and rejection, the true Judge reigns

1. In the face of deceptive, destructive hypocrisy, Jesus is still in control. 2. Jesus' control is for the sake of the gracious redemption of others.

We were meant to live in faithful dependence on God even and especially amidst trial. The dependence we need is fueled by communion with God in prayer.

1. Because the world rejects Jesus, we should be prepared for rejection too. 2. The kingdom spreads in this world by humble, non-violent proclamation.
