If Jesus is preeminent in our homes, we have a responsibility to live a certain way.

As we come to Colossians 3, we move from doctrine to conduct. Specifically, in Colossians, we’ve learned that Jesus is supreme over His creation, His church, and now we’ll see in chapters 3 and 4 that He is supreme over the Christian.

This week as we finish chapter 2, we’ll hear Paul’s warning against other false teachings that crept into Colosse: Legalism; Mysticism; & Asceticism.

Only when the gospel is clear and Christ is preeminent to us do we have the ability to rejoice in our sufferings.
