Sometimes in life we look around us and wonder- where’s God? Esther is a book that never implicitly mentions God’s name, no one prays, and no one does any miracles. But God is the hero of the story- orchestrating lives to bring about His plans.

A lack of financial margin is not only foolish, but increases our stress and relational tension. The problem with our financial issues is not an income problem, but a lifestyle and spiritual problem. When we learn to put God first in our finances and create financial margin we end up getting more of what matters most.

Prioritizing Margin, Mark 1. When it comes to your time- margin won’t come naturally. We must fight to prioritize what matters most, and intentionally schedule margin into our lives.

Luke 10. Culturally- we are busier than we’ve ever been- and that busyness has resulted in more stress and less actual fulfillment. The peace we long for wont’ be found in doing more- it’s found in creating margin in our life. And for people constantly pressured to keep doing more- margin has to be chosen and fought for.
