  • April 20, 2024 - Rev. Sam Robbins

We know what feels like to be beat up and to be beat down…but in the shadow of the empty tomb, we raise our Hallelujahs in celebration of the resurrection of our Lord! We rejoice in his victory over sin and death and shame. We rejoice in his rising…because it means that we, too, in faith shall rise – that we can overcome all that wants to shackle and triumph over us! We rejoice in his undefeated power and in his undefeated grace! We rejoice that Jesus reigns undefeated! “Apathy & Purposelessness” based on the scripture from Matthew 5:13-16.

  • March 24, 2024 (Palm Sunday) - Drs. John McKellar & Todd Renner

Centuries before our Lord’s ministry on earth, though – early in the history of Israel – the nation was instructed through Moses how to worship the Lord.  As part of these instructions, Aaron and his sons (the priests) were given a blessing they were to speak over the people…in doing so, God would “put his name on” the Israelites – He would claim them and hold them and bless them. “…” and Give You Peace” based on the scripture from John 14:27.
