Christ Jesus Is The Word Of God Incarnation

He’s A Searching Sword And Battles Temptation

He’s A Hammer And Fire – Crushing Heat Conflagration

He’s A Mirror To Show Us Our Sin Separation

He’s A Lamp To Point Us To Truth Liberation

He’s Seed, Sower, Soil – Our All – The Summation

He’s Milk So We Grow And Mature The Foundation

He’s Water To Cleanse And Make Pure Celebration

He’s Meat So We’re Nourished – Our Cure For Starvation

He’s The Bread Of Life – Our Food For Salvation

Sweeter Than Honey – Our Preoccupation

More Precious Than Gold – Our Praise Adoration

He Bore All God’s Wrath – Our Full Propitiation

He Died And Then Rose For Our Justification

By Faith Alone He Saves From Damnation

Through The Word He’s At Work For Our Sanctification

And Leads Us To Heaven For Glorification

So Praise God The Word Who’s Our All Combination!

Anthony Butler on the Sabbath

Christ Jesus Was The King When Born

The Star’s Great Light With Praise Adorn

To Him Be All Allegiance Sworn

The Wise Men Came With Gifts Adored

And On This Child Their Worship Poured

For He Is Both Their God And LORD

God’s Wrath Would Crush Him Pierced With Sword

He Died And Rose Salvation’s Horn

Took All Our Sin And Death And Thorn

So Now You’ll Never Die Or Mourn

From Every Nation His Reward

Comes To The Father Not Ignored

By Faith Alone You’re Just Restored

For Christ Is All Your God And LORD!

Christ Jesus Took All Your Disgrace

So Justice Won – No Partial Face

All Your Days His Mercies Chase

You Down Each Day To Give You Grace

Because He Died – Was Shown No Grace

Marred, Bruised, And Beaten – Spit On Face

God’s Wrath And Curse Did Crush, Debase

So Marred Beyond A Human Face

But Then He Rose To Death Displace

Now, In Him, New Life Embrace

For All Your Sins He Did Erase

So You Will Run A Righteous Race

No Partial Sins Or Wicked Trace

All Because Christ Took Your Place!

Christ Jesus Is The LORD Who’d Save

So Call Upon His Name Who Gave

His Life Upon That Cross To Pave

A Way He All Our Sins Forgave

Christ Died And Rose Up From The Grave

All Must Believe – Hear What He Gave

We Must Be Sent And Preach To Save

For We Belong To Christ – His Slave

We Bear Good News With Beauty Brave

Oh May Our Feet Run On His Wave

Of Greatest Love Who All Forgave

We Tell The World He Came To Save!

Christ Jesus Spoke Like None Before

Or Ever Since So Praise! Adore!

His Words Give Life And Joy Galore

He Is The Life – Hope’s Guarantor

He Is God’s Word In Flesh And More

He’s God And Man You Can’t Ignore

His Words Are Pure Down To The Core

Wise Like A Bubbling Brook They Soar

Yet He Would Die – God’s Wrath He Bore

The Temple’s Open – Curtain Tore

He Rose Again To Life Restore

Trust Him Alone – Salvation’s Door

Then You Will Speak Not As Before

He’ll Change Your Heart And Words And More

All Sinful Words You Will Abhor

And On Them Make An All Out War

For Christ Is All The Word Adore

We Live To Please Him More And More!

Christ Jesus Came His Church To Save

Community That’s One And Brave

Deals With Conflict, Loves, Forgave

For On God’s Hands Our Names Engrave

Like Him We Love And Act – He’d Pave

A Way To Give Just Like He Gave

For Jesus Died – Our Sins Forgave

Then Rose Alive Up From That Grave

Now We’re His Friends – Not Just His Slave

He’s Elder Brother Strong And Brave

Our Friend Like None We Always Crave

Our God Who Loves And Came To Save!

Christ Jesus Is Our God Who’s Just

He’s Truly Man With Perfect Trust

In God His Father’s Plan Robust

Yet His Own Son Would Die For Dust

In Him God’s Angry Sword Would Thrust

Christ Died And Rose For The Unjust

By Faith Alone In Him We’re Just

Now We Repent From Every Lust

We Hate All Sin With True Disgust

Do Righteousness And God Entrust

For Him Who Is Our Only Must

He’s Made Our Hearts For Him Combust

Who Is Our God Who Made Us Just!

Christ Jesus Is Holy And Never Rebelled

God’s Wise, Perfect Messenger Only Excelled

He’s God In The Flesh – With Men He Has Dwelled

All Evil And Foolishness He Has Expelled

Hates All Transgression And Truth Has Impelled

He Died On That Cross Where God’s Presence Withheld

Forsaken And Crushed – In Anguish He Yelled

Then Rose From The Dead – New Life He Propelled

By Faith Alone Our Salvation Is Spelled

Now By His Spirit In Christ We Are Held

And In Us God’s Wisdom And Righteousness Swelled

God’s Laws And His Word And His Glory Upheld

All Because Christ In God’s Wisdom Excelled!

Christ Jesus Made And Rules The Tongue

He’s God Of Truth – Truth From Him Sprung

He Never Sinned With Heart Or Tongue

Kept Silent When Foes Cursed And Swung

Took No Bribe, Nor Mocked, Nor Stung

But Covers All Offense And Hung

With Love Upon That Cross And Flung

All Our Sins Away Among

The Deepest Ocean Floors Are Slung

All Because God’s Wrath Him Stung

He Died And Rose Again And Sprung

Up From The Tomb – Brings New Life Young

By Faith Alone To Him We’ve Clung

He Changes Hearts And Changed Our Tongue

We Count All Loss And Filth And Dung

Compared To Christ Who For Us Hung

His Praises Now Forever Sung

For He’s Our God Who Healed Our Tongue!
