Jesus is the "Word" who gives meaning, purpose amd hope to a world in desperate need of these.

The joy of Christmas is that God did not leave us in the darkness of sin, but entered into that darkness through his Son to bring light and life to all people.

Jesus wants us to experience the joy that the angels proclaimed when they said,

Our crucified and risen King excercises his universal authority by sending his church into the world to make disciples of all nations.

Jesus Christ rose from the dead, and this changes everything.

Jesus establishes his kingship not through force and fear, but through self-giving love in his death on the cross.

Though all humanity bears the guilt of Jesus' death, he gave his life in willing obedience to his Father in order to bring us back to God.
