Excellence in some lesser area of life does not compensate for or excuse neglecting the more important things that God calls us to attend to: love for God first then love for neighbor (including your family).

The Father’s character is the bedrock of God’s family which is the strong place to do the hard work of dealing with your own mess and the messy parts of your family.

Is there a conversation that you need to have as a child of God that you’ve been avoiding ? OR that you’ve been having poorly that you need to have differently?

God’s family is the strong place to do important work: to love our earthly family with his love, grace, and truth and to participate in God’s work of healing our earthly family.
