Only the good soil bears fruit that matures. How are you bearing fruit for the Kingdom this week?

A big awareness of our sin leads to a bigger awareness of God's grace and extravagant acts of worship.

Let's live with great faith this week in the one who has authority over sickness and death and has compassion for us.

Let's be a church of guacamole: broken and messy but deep and nourishing, rather than a church of Skittles that look and taste fruity on the outside but are not good fruit.

The reward will be great for disciples who follow Jesus with a costly life and a costly love.

Jesus is for losers: the downtrodden, the broken, and the humble sinners who know they need a Savior.

"How can your life reflect desperate dependence on Jesus this week? Remember he is the uniquely authoritative "Son of Man"!

Be obedient even when you do not understand. Follow Jesus no matter what the cost.

Be amazed and even offended by Jesus, and follow him!

Jesus won the fight that no one else could. In human weakness with divine power, we can win in the wilderness.
