Following the Scriptures in perfect, perpetual obedience is life. Disobedience is death. Where is the "good news" in this?

Dr Luther once said that the Christian is to be a servant of all, especially the fellow believers. Humanity is to live for the glory of God alone. We live for God's with the good works we do for our neighbor.
