Your whole life must worship God. Everything about you, everything you do in your body and with your body is to worship and adore and please God.

The heart of worship is a heart that prizes God above all things. So true worship must involve a God-centered pursuit with a mind enlightened by Christ-exalting truth and a heart inflamed by the Holy Spirit.

The things you set your mind on, affect your happiness in the Lord. Your thoughts affect your mood.

The church is God’s house on planet earth. Not a physical building, but Christians gathered together. Therefore we must see ourselves as a spiritual house where God lives and we must be people of God’s presence. People who gather to God and his presence when we are together.

The God of all grace uses temporary trials and sufferings as tools to prepare us for his eternal glory.

If it sometimes feels like someone is working against you, it’s because someone is against you. Peter calls him “Your enemy the devil”. He is not just somewhere “out there”, doing damage to other people. He is after you! (And me!) It’s personal! He is your adversary. The amplified reads, “that enemy of yours”.

We humble ourselves by giving our cares to God, trusting God’s promise to care for us; then we are free to humbly care for others.
