The cross stands gets at the very center of biblical revelation. The final cry of Jesus on the cross in John's gospel "It is finished!" is the greatest cry of victory the world has ever known.

John the Baptist came as a forerunner to announce the Kingdom of Heaven and call for repentance in preparation for the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The new covenant promised through Jesus Christ brings an inward renewal through the Holy Spirit whereby the law is written within. God pledges himself to his people, we are given a saving knowledge of the LORD and our sins are remembered no more.

In response to the disciples' request that Jesus teach them to pray, Jesus does just that. He teaches that His disciples ought to pray with persistence, fervency, and expectation that the Father will generously give the Holy Spirit, who comes fully loaded with all the spiritual and practical blessings Christians need.

Seven hundred before the Son of God came in the flesh, the prophet Isaiah prophesied about the Servant of the Lord who would be exalted and triumph, bringing salvation to the nations through suffering. This amazing prophecy of our Lord Jesus Christ was fulfilled and is being fulfilled as the gospel continues to go to the nations of the world.

But David was totally unique and the most important king. The Lord said, I have selected David as “a king for Myself”, “a man after My own heart”. Samuel anointed David, about a thousand years before Christ was born. It’s one of the most important events in the Bible.
