Do you think rightly? If not, then how do you behave rightly? Do you put on the Lord Jesus Christ and restrain your fleshly desires, or do they rule over you and control your behavior? This expository sermon is the final segment of a 9-part series titled A Manifesto for Christian Citizenship.

Do you know how and do you pursue the biblical love of your neighbor? Did you realize that Scripture requires Christians to love their neighbor? Further, love is to regulate our relationships with others. Most of us fail at this; repeatedly. The unregenerate human heart is a place of hostility, not love. It is only as we rely on Christ, and submit to His Spirit that He will slowly transform us into the likeness of Christ - the One who loved supremely.

The errant facts of many of those in the field of astronomy causes many to doubt God's revelation to us and to actually misunderstand the purpose of God's general revelation of the heavens and sun.

What do you think when you look up at the stars? The person of faith looks at the sun and the stars, and they see the handiwork of God. One of Satan's schemes is to use human reasoning to trick unbelievers, who look at the very same thing and yet they discount the existence of God.

If you were pretty sure you wouldn't get caught, would you cheat on your federal income taxes? Are we, as Christians, supposed to pay local, state and federal taxes? How about sales and property tax? Did you know that Scripture even addresses the subject of taxes?

Throughout the Christian centuries theologians have wrestled with the proper relationship between the church and the state. The Christian church has a priceless treasure which it can not share with the state. Given the human passion for violence, following the Flood God established human government to prevent the race from exterminating itself (Gen 9:6). Although human government is deeply flawed, it remains God's good gift to humanity and as Christians we are called upon to be the best citizens possible.
