On the final night of Jesus’ earthly ministry, He sacrificially served the disciples by washing their feet and called them to do the same to one another. Therefore, Christians ought to joyfully serve one another in any way possible as a living picture of Christ’s person and work for all the world to see.

Church discipline has caused confusion and pain for many. But that’s not how Jesus sees it. It’s discipleship that builds healthy churches and gospel witness to the world. So, Christians must grasp our responsibility to exercise church discipline and embrace our opportunity to honor Christ.

The Lord’s Supper is Christ’s gracious gift to the church, His covenant people, given to help us remember His sacrifice, proclaim the gospel, strengthen our fellowship, and anticipate His return. Therefore, we must receive it with faith, love, and reverence.

Through the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ, God doesn’t merely save sinners, He adopts them into His family where they belong, love one another, grow together, and display God’s glory!

Baptism is the church's act of affirming a believer's union with Christ and a believer's act of committing themselves to Christ and His people. Therefore, every believer in Christ should be baptized by immersion and become a member of a local church!

The faithful preaching of the gospel focuses on Christ, His life and ministry, death, resurrection, and exaltation. Those who repent and believe in Jesus gather together as saints in order to learn God’s Word, love God’s people, worship God’s name, and share God’s message, for His eternal glory!

God has uniquely arranged His diverse blood-bought saints into one body. The beauty of the Church shines forth through unity in diversity as we care for one another and for those in the world. Therefore, every member is called to genuinely love and serve as Christ has loved and served us!

After Peter’s confession, Jesus grants His Church the authority to act as God’s representatives to bind and loose on earth. Therefore, Christians are called to local church membership, where the church wields those keys for the purity of God’s people and the proclamation of the gospel.

God delivers His people from annihilation, as a result, they are given mastery over their enemy. Even more, Jesus bore God's wrath, redeems us, and makes us more than conquerors through Jesus forever. So then, Christians must remember, embrace, and await our victory in Christ!

God provides a decree that overcomes His people's death sentence; ultimately fulfilled in Christ, whose finished work on the cross reversed our condemnation and secured our salvation. Therefore, we must boldly intercede, trust God, and rejoice in our deliverance!
