The early church formed and grew through devoted prayer to our heavenly Father. Likewise, we should, from our first embracing of the gospel to our most difficult moments and everything in between, devote ourselves as a church through prayer as an essential part of body life together.

God has uniquely arranged His diverse blood-bought saints into one body. The beauty of the Church shines forth through unity in diversity as we care for one another and as we care for those in the world.

The faithful preaching of the gospel focuses on Christ, includes very specific content, and demands a response. Those who repent and believe in Jesus Christ gather together as saints in order to learn God’s Word, love God’s people, worship God’s name, and share God’s message, to His eternal glory!

As believers, we must understand that the church is absolutely central to God’s eternal purpose that He has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord. Therefore, it must not be pushed to the periphery but be central to our lives. In other words, we should be ready to pray, to work, and to suffer for her glory!

The mystery of Christ has been revealed through the apostle Paul to the saints in Ephesus, and to us today, which gives us every reason in the world to be overwhelmed by the gospel of God and emboldened to live radical lives, proclaiming the gospel to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people group.

We should receive the good news of God’s perfect plan of salvation through the incarnation of His only Son, Jesus with great joy and respond with meditation, praise, and obedience.
