Despite our ignorance, arrogance, and half-hearted obedience, God's amazing grace to us in the Lord Jesus Christ's finished work on the cross is what spurs us on to be faithful followers who willingly reach out to the lost.

The church is essential for growth to maturity because Christ has sovereignly gifted every individual with abilities to minister to all the other members, so that we might all grow in the knowledge of Christ,

Jesus displays His authority by proclaiming the good news, casting out demons, and healing the sick, ultimately pointing forward to His triumph over sin, disease, and the devil. Therefore, Christians should be in awe of Christ’s authority and confident of His victory when He returns in glory.

The gospel must drive everything our church does because it alone is the power of God to promote the glory of God.

Jesus fulfills the Messianic promise to liberate captives and to heal the spiritually blind; however, He was despised and rejected by those He came to save. Therefore, we must own our rejection, respond rightly to our Savior, and embrace the cost of living for His glory.

We are sinners in Adam who deserve God’s judgment. Jesus, the Son of God, came on a rescue mission to fulfill all righteousness, resist the devil’s lies as the Second Adam, defeat mankind’s greatest enemy, and secure a whole new humanity empowered by the Spirit that lives for the glory of God.

Faithfulness is shown through ordinary obedience to God, regardless of obstacles or discomfort. Jesus and John the Baptist exemplify unwavering faithfulness to God’s commands. As Christians, we must strive to remain faithful to God, as He has been faithful to us through the Lord Jesus.

When the fullness of time came, God sent forth His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, so we might experience the glory of our salvation. As a result of the first coming of Christ, we should long all the more for His second coming, to make all things right!

There is only one way for sinful man to be reconciled to a holy God, and that is by faith in Jesus. This babe, born in a manger, provides eternal peace to all those who believe in Him, because He is the Prince of Peace. Therefore, we must be proclaimers of peace!

God has visited and redeemed His people in the coming of the Lord Jesus, who brings the forgiveness of sins, the hope of eternal life, and the ability to walk in the way of peace and serve God in holiness. Therefore, our mouths should be filled with joyful praise for God’s glorious gift of salvation.
