If we're going to be saved and not condemned, safely entering the Kingdom of God, we must look to Jesus alone, the Messiah, and His finished work on the cross for salvation rather than our own good works.
John gives us solid witnesses, both in quality and quantity, who all declare that Jesus Christ is the Messiah, the one true Lamb of God whose substitutionary death on the cross takes away the sin of every person who believes in Him, whether Jew or Gentile.
The Jews of Jesus' day knew the story of creation and God's miraculous deliverance from slavery through signs and wonders. Therefore they knew that the true Messiah must be God Himself, who alone can provide salvation to all who receive Him.
Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, as proven by His signs and wonders and teaching, and offers eternal life to as many as receive Him, particularly to those who initially rejected Him, the Jews.
Jesus Christ, our One True King, has secured our victory over sin, death, and the devil. Through faith in Him, we have the hope of eternal life and the confidence to plunder the enemy that others might be liberated to eternal life.
We must worship the One True King, Jesus Christ, fully and without distraction, undertsanding clearly that we are either embracing Him or willingly rejecting Him. There's no middle ground!
The Old Testament is filled with signs that a Messiah is coming who is the King of Kings. These signs identify Jesus Christ as that King, who came on a mission to save His people from their sins.
