Jonah 3 - 4:4
Text V. 4
A fiery message that
challenges us all on our anger
and how we feel about the mercy
of God and who he saves.
Reverent Puliatti's demanding tone
wells up inside of you throughout
this sermon to take action in your
faith and realize that we are Jonahs
in need of our Savior and his kind mercy.
John 19:17-27
Text: v. 26-27
A sermon to listen to this coming Easter season.
Reverend Puliatti explains how Jesus takes care of
us physically and spiritually as he did with his mother, Mary.
He also brings to light that Jesus not only suffered physically
and spiritually but also, mentally by having to sever his earthly
relationships with his mother and disciples here on earth.
A necessary and pertinent sermon!
Jonah 3
Text: v. 10
"The gospel ignited the flame of repentance within you."
A very theological sermon introducing three
views of verse 10 from Jonah that bleeds into
other portions of Scripture.
Reverend Puliatti takes us on a #theological journey
on how God "repented" or "relented" and what that
means.
Jonah 2:10-3:4
Text: v. 3:1
"Jonah's story is told through each one of us."
Reverend Puliatti uses this text to
remind us of our God, who gives
us a second chance. How God even uses
our disobedience for our good and for his will
to be done.
Ecclesiastes 11:9-12:8
Reverend Puliatti takes us on a dark
journey through these few verses of
chapter 12 on what it means to age -
how fleeting life is.
However, he ends up in a very encouraging
place, where the darkness must be experienced
in order to see the true light that is Christ.
Matthew 12:38-42
Text v. 41
Reverend Puliatti uses these verses
from Matthew to point out how revelatory
Christ actually is, and how he calls us
to repentance while coming unto him.
Job 28
Dr. Carl Trueman continues his insightful series
on the book of Job at Calvary OPC.
Luke 11: 1-13
A noteworthy sermon that opens
the discussion to God's holy name,
God's holy answer, and our holy priority.
Reminding us that this prayer, is a prayer
with a mission and that God's answer
is personal.
Genesis 2:4-17 and 3:22-24
Revelation 2:7 and 22: 8-17
Dr. Byron Curtis, Bible Professor at Geneva College,
continues his series on Revelation that he has been preaching at Calvary OPC.
A beautiful explanation and link from the Old Testament
to new concerning the tree of life and what it means.
Paul's word in Revelation translated is, "dead wood" and out of
the dead wood comes life. That life being, Christ - where we
gain our privilege of a life with God.
2 Timothy 2:24-26; John 3:16; 6:35-40 + 44; Philippians 4:1-3; Luke 11: 1-13
Reverend Peter Puliatti continues his
mini series on predestination and
bringing what it means full circle.
An interesting and thought provoking thought
as well as an understandable view of the Orthodox
Presbyterian stance on this theological topic.
"We are worthy in Christ and because of Christ. You are not just chosen by him but IN him."
