Pastor Tim shares four things that can hinder us from doing what we want to do, and how to discern between them.

When Abram left what he knew to follow God's plan for him, he had to be willing to go to places that were uncomfortable and unknown. Abram wasn't perfect but that's what makes it possible for us to relate to him. Pastor Tim takes us through Genesis 13-14 to show us three places Abram went that we should be willing to go in order to grow in our faith in Jesus.

When God calls us to go somewhere or to do something, it often requires leaving behind some things in order to see what He has for us. When God called Abram, he had to leave some things behind. Pastor Tim takes us through Genesis 12:1-9 to show us three things Abram had to leave behind that we should also be willing to leave behind in order to grow in our faith in Jesus.

The hope of the Christian is to hear Jesus say "Well done" when we face Him someday. However, how do we know we are doing well right now in our life? Pastor Tim preaches through 1 Peter 5 to tell us how we can know a pastor is doing well and how we can know a Christian is doing well.

How can we suffer for Christ? There are Christians who suffer so much in the world. How do they get through it? Peter tells us in 1 Peter 4:12-19. He tells us how we can view suffering for Christ.

We learn many things in school but one thing we are not taught in school is how to suffer. Suffering is something we all go through but many of us don't know how to suffer. Pastor Tim takes us through 1 Peter 4:1-11 to show us how to view suffering.

The chase doesn't end after you say "I Do". Marriage is to continually love and win your spouse, over and over again. Pastor Tim takes us through 1 Peter 3:1-7 and shares four ways wives can win their husbands and four ways husbands can win their wives. Buckle up!

It's one thing to submit to the authority of God and His Word, but what about human authority such as governors, the president, and employers? Pastor Tim takes us through 1 Peter 2:13-25 to explain how God wants us to deal with authority as Christians.

Jesus is our only hope! Once we set our hope fully on Him, how do we grow up in this hope? How can we grow up into salvation in a world that is filled with sin? Pastor Tim takes us through 1 Peter 2:1-12 to show up the steps we should take to mature in our faith.

Jesus is our only hope. Everything changes but the Word of God remains the same. Knowing this, how do we go about setting our hope fully on Jesus? What does that look like in our daily life? Pastor Tim preaches from 1 Peter 1:13-25 to explain how we can do that.
