We start a short series studying the church with a look at the book of Ephesians.

Spencer finishes up this section of Colossians 3 with a discussion of what we should put on in Christ.

When we are made new in Christ our unity with him gives us a "new set of clothes." This week Jon gives us the old garments that we are to take off as we follow Jesus.

Jesus offers rest to everyone who is weary and burdened. No exceptions.

Jesus starts to make us a little uncomfortable when he pronounces a set of woes on some Israelite cities, but these are hard sayings that we need to hear and take note of.

We bring a lot of expectations to our relationship with Jesus. He carefully draws us back from them in his message to the crowds in Matthew 11.

Following Jesus is public, violent and rewarding.

Jesus continues to give his disciples insight into what to expect as they are sent out on mission for him.
