“What happens when we die?” is a universal question of human beings and one that all faiths have attempted answer. This message will explore the answer to this question from the Christian perspective. We’ll look at how our faith speaks of how our physical death is not the end of us or our relationship with God and how people of faith can face death with hope! 2 Corinthians 5:1-10

Too often we are like the blind man, not really seeing other people for who they are, for who God created them to be. Sometimes, as we experience God’s love, we begin to see “shadows” of who people are. It is the heart transformed by God’s love that will reveal the depth and beauty of another person. Mark 8:22-26

Back To Basics – Part 6 – Who Is Saved?
The question of who is saved and who is not has long been a point of contention in the Christian Church. Today’s message will look at just who is saved according to these passages from the Gospel of John. John 3:1-17; 10:16

In the Book of Hebrews, the writer compares the faithfulness of Moses to the faithfulness of Jesus. Using the metaphor of the house, we explore what it means to let God in to all the parts of our lives, and what amazing possibilities await if we have faith to let God in. Hebrews 3:1-15

“Back To Basics – Part 5 – Christ From The Very Beginning”
The message will explore the nature of Christ who became incarnate in Jesus of Nazareth and how the Christ (not Jesus) was active in creation from the very beginning. We’ll also look at how “the incarnation”, Christ coming in the person of Jesus, God’s son, reveals to us who God is. John 1:1-18

This is a stand-alone sermon for World Communion Sunday. What is our basic calling as Christians? How do others know this? Loving our neighbors. It's that simple, and that difficult.

Sermon: “Back To Basics – Part 3 – The Beginning Of Sin, or ‘It Ain’t My Fault’”

In this chapter of Genesis, sin becomes a part of the human condition. We will look at just what the first sin actually was and how it has affected humanity ever since. We’ll look at how easy it is for us to not want to accept responsibility for our actions. We’ll also explore how God’s judgement of the sin of Adam and Eve is accompanied by grace.

“Back To Basics – Part 4 – Salvation – God’s Strategic Plan”

The message focuses on the origin of God’s plan of salvation goes all the way back to the story of Abram (Abraham) who was not exactly a role model of a husband. In spite of Abram’s fallible nature, God promises that through him all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

What a beautiful prayer. “Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart...” To be a Christian is to be transformed by God from the inside out. Psalm 19:7-14

Riparian zone is the phrase that describes land that interfaces with a lake or a river. Riparian zones often are lusher than their surroundings because of access to water. What is the Riparian Zone of our faith? How do we “delight in the law of the Lord?” Psalm 1.
