A Message for the Depressed

There are many people who are suffering with depression. There are many Christians sitting in pews, secretly suffering. Don't be ashamed and do not give up. God has a cake for you. He is not finished with you yet.

Knock and it shall be opened, but why do we have to knock? Why is the door closed? The devil and/or our own doubts, has us convinced there is an impassible wall between our prayers and God. But God says there is a door. Not everyone is welcome in. But when the heart is right with God (one that is believing and seeking), He will open that door wide. Come in the name of Jesus.

When someone is lost in sin, they cannot minister the things of God. Anything they try to do for the Lord is ineffective. All they do is spread their sin sickness, their fever. It must be gone before they can rise up, minister and be effective.

There are promises from God for every situation you may encounter in life.

God will NOT fail, He will keep His promises. He will not go back on them and He will not forget.

What has He promised YOU?

Your faith, coupled with those promises, brings the answer.

Many Christians are distressed, depressed and grieved because the devil has stolen from them and left them feeling defeated and empty.

But those things he has stolen are still yours. Go... and recover all.

The enemy stole from King David and he carried his grief unto God. Crying, until he could cry no more. He became encouraged in the Lord and asked God if he should pursue the enemy to take back what was stolen. The answer? Go... and recover all.

And Naboth said to Ahab, The Lord forbid it me, that I should give the inheritance of my fathers unto thee.

Hold on to your God given inheritance. Don't sell out and don't let the devil steal it away. Serve the Lord and hang on to those things with all your heart.

Each position in the Family of God, comes with it's own level of duty and responsibility. We need to be committed to that which God has called us.
